How do you check what type of motherboard is installed in the computer?

i just reformatted the computer. however, the driver & utilities for the mother is unavailable. i'm planning to download the driver from the web. problem is, i dont what brand or model the motherboard is. i opened the CPU case to check the board. i cant see a brand name...only AGP (what does it mean?) cant find model name...help..ASAP
