Glances ? eye contact ?

i was at this school thing today .. after school like an athletic banquet. everytime i would glance /look at him , hed be glancing back .. so i kept doing more glances to see if he was looking .. and we just kinda kept doing it, id see him looking, hed look away, and vise versa ..we havent really talked very much .. im kind of shy , but yeah, does this mean anything ?
