Is there a real democracy in Turkey?

In my openion there's no real democracy in Turkey. It's a country that's been ruled by military dictatorship ever since the beginning of Ottoman Empire. The only way to know this is by taking a short visit to Turkey and you'll find out for yourself how military rules everything and if you're looking for a good human right's record, don't believe you'll find it in Turkey. I honestly think Turks are the most ignorant people on the face of earth.
