What is the difference between true and false repentance?

this is a great question, and one I believe I can answer easily enough. Repentance does not mean that we are just sorry for our sin. Repentance means turning completely away from sin, and not doing it again. So, true repentance is changed lives and heart, false repentance is just saying your sorry, and then continuing in it.
