Gas fire installation advice please?

Get your free gas check. Write to the engineer with the list of things the gas check says needs to be done. Tell him you expect him to carry out this work without extra charge within 7 days. If he doesn't, you will get another gas engineer to carry out the work and sue him in the County Court for the cost.
