Canterbury Tales rewrite to make it modern?

How could I rewrite The Cooks tale to give it a modern day twist, to reflect modern day characters and situations? I could make it The Chefs Tale. Any other ideas for it? How could I use rhetorical devices such as figurative language, aphorisms, ogies, and/or imagery?
